You asked for them and we got them — updates about some of the animals saved by the agents on Animal Precinct.

Episode 307: Fox Terrier Update
As of Monday, September 8th, 37 of the fox terriers have been adopted into new homes. Each of the 17 dogs that remain at the ASPCA have special needs that would require an adopter who's willing to take on additional responsibilities.

Because of how these remaining terriers were bred and raised, many of them suffer from ear and skin infections, or benign liver and spleen tumors. A few recurring mammary tumors have appeared in some of the females.

The remaining terriers have been either spayed or neutered and the ASPCA is putting together a plan to place the dogs in loving new homes — far away from the conditions they'd previously endured.

As for the former owner, there has yet to be a final disposition in the case. The next court date is scheduled for early October.

Episode 215: Three Dog Day
In Queens, Special Investigator Annemarie Lucas and Special Agent JoAnn Sandano respond to a complaint about two dogs who appeared to be neglected or abused.

Upon arrival, JoAnn realizes that she'd been to the same location a year before investigating another complaint. After discovering an injured puppy and an emaciated pit bull the agents question the man living at the location. He says he doesn't own the animals. The agents bring the dogs back to the ASPCA and plan to return to the home after they have enough information to prove that the man was responsible for the dogs' well being.

The ASPCA determined that the pit bull had been raised to fight and was unfortunately un-adoptable.

Episode 209: Unwanted Surprises
On their way back to the ASPCA, Special Agent Adam Gankiewicz and Undercover Agent "H" received a call that a dog-fight was underway.

The agents rushed to the location, made the necessary arrests and brought the dogs back to the ASPCA. One of the dogs did not have an owner; the other dog's owner was unaware that her dog was taken.

Episode 210: Moo-Moo
New Yorkers Kellyn Flanagan and her roommate came to the ASPCA in search of a smaller dog.

They had no idea when they first arrived at the shelter that the puppy they would be bring home would grow into a big pit bull.

Episode 210: Ringo
Another one of the pit bulls, a puppy named "Ringo," found a home somewhere else.

Episode 210: Petey
In the Bronx, Special Agent Mike Tietje and Special Agent Paul Lai rescued seven tick-infested pit bull puppies and their mother (she was also covered in ticks and harboring a potentially deadly infection).

The agents had been to the location before and served the owner with a notice to comply. He failed to seek the proper medical attention and decided to surrender the tick-infested dogs to the agents. All of the animals were taken to the ASPCA Henry Bergh Memorial Hospital, where they were treated. Then what happened?

Episode 211: Junkyard Dogs
In Queens, Special Agent Joann Sandano visited an ailing man and his animals. The man made a promise that he would take his sick cat to the vet. However, when Sandano returned to the location she discovered that the man had left town, leaving his cats behind.

With the assistance of Special Agent Gankiewicz and undercover agent "T," both cats were rescued and brought back to the ASPCA.

Episode 204: Left Behind
ASPCA Humane Law Enforcement Special Investigator Annmarie Lucas and her undercover partner went to a house in Staten Island to check on a complaint about dogs left in an apartment barking all day and night. When they arrived on the scene they could hear the dogs barking but no one was home to let them in.

Lucas and her partner tracked down the owner at his job and learned that he has two dogs and three cats. The owner claims that someone is taking care of the animals for him. Lucas arranged to meet the owner in front of his building the next morning to assess the situation. The owner of the animals did not show up forcing Lucas to obtain a warrant and seize the animals that were living without food or water.

Episode 208: Canine Cruelty
Special Investigator Annemarie Lucas and an undercover agent traveled to Brooklyn after receiving a complaint about an emaciated dog whose mouth was being muzzled with masking tape. Special Investigator Mark MacDonald went along as back up since the dog's owner had a habit of running from the law. After making a successful arrest, the agents bring the dog, King, back to the ASPCA for medical treatment.

Episode 301: Saved from the Darkness
Special Investigator Annemarie Lucas and Special Agent JoAnn Sandano travel to an apartment building in Brooklyn where they respond to a complaint of an emaciated dog. When they arrive, the building super leads them to a basement where they find two dogs and a litter of puppies. One of the dogs is suffering from a stab wound and one of the puppies is unable to move her legs.
