Beyond the Show
Field biologist Scot Anderson, along with fellow biologist Peter Pyle, has initiated several groundbreaking studies involving the white sharks off the Farallon Islands in the San Francisco Bay. In Shark! Beyond the Jaws, watch Scot and Peter begin an important new study that will track shark migration through satellite-tagging technology. Scot also gets to dive with sharks for the first time ever in this program. Relive his experience through his photos below.

Field producer and director Jenny Jones was there every step of the way, chronicling the work of these fearless researchers willing to get up close and personal with one of the most feared species on Earth. She shares a few of her images while filming the show and some of the stories behind the scenes. View her photos here.
