Recently, my precious Hurricane Katrina rescue cat, Yadi, slipped out of our home without my knowledge. It was 9:30 p.m. before my husband and I realized it was gone. We searched through the night but to no avail. At daybreak, my husband and daughter began an all-out search while I stayed inside waiting. My son, who's in college in Alabama, and I went online, both of us ending up on "The Feline Finders" Web site. After filling out the forms, one of Feline Finders' pet detectives, Lisa, called, reassuring me that my precious cat would be found. Her suggestions and kind, calming words were of great comfort. She told me the cat was not far, and was hiding someplace that gave it warmth and security. About 4:30 that afternoon I found Yadi under a neighbor's deck in between some tubing. My son and I both talked with Lisa and told her of our good fortune — and her accuracy. She was so pleased and I felt a closeness that I will never forget. She genuinely felt my pain and my relief. Words don't say enough to express the gratitude I feel for Lisa and "The Feline Finders." What a wonderful organization!
