Veterinarian Nancy Boedecker (center) and Assistant Curator Lisa Stevens (left) help keep the cub from scampering away. Tai Shan received a rabies vaccination during the exam, which, along with his four previous canine distemper shots, completes his inoculations. At the time of the exam, he weighed 19.2 pounds and measured 31.2 inches from snout to rump.
