JESSICA SPEISER, 18. Jessica and her horse Simplicity, an impressive 13-year-old seal bay Holsteiner, have every intention of taking home the Maclay Medal this year. Like Natalie, this is Jessica’s last chance to win the coveted title. Known for her quiet nature, warm smile, and crimson red hair, Jessica’s competitive side and ample experience can never be underestimated. She has been one of the top junior riders in the nation for the past three years, and although very friendly with the other riders, she is nipping at the heels of girls like Addie and Brianne. Living near Heritage Farm, Jessica puts in plenty of time training with Andre, honing her skills and consistency, putting her in a position to pounce should one of the other top riders make a mistake on the long road to the Maclay Medal in Syracuse, NY. Does she have what it takes? Will she take home the Medal?
