The 2007 Fresh Step® Litter Cat Hero Award winner will be revealed on AnimalPlanet.com on Friday, November 2nd!

Animal Planet and the makers of Fresh Step® Litter are coming together to honor the 10 finalists that have been chosen for the Animal Planet 2007 Fresh Step® Litter Cat Hero Award. Read about the nominees below. The winner's favorite animal welfare organization will receive a $5,000 donation provided from the makers of Fresh Step® Litter.

  Maryanne Farrell is a compassionate individual with an unending passion for assisting helpless creatures, both animal and human. Her involvement individually and in cooperation with shelter and rescue groups throughout Western Pennsylvania has helped save and find homes for hundreds of animals, primarily cats.
