Tune in to the sights, smells, and sounds of nature this spring by participating in the National Wildlife Federation's Wildlife Watch, part of the 70th Annual National Wildlife Week celebration from April 19 to 27.

Taking part is easy and free: Simply visit the event's Web site to download a wildlife-watch list, which includes myriad native plant and animal species, for your state. When you're done, you can share your sightings and discoveries online with other Wildlife Watchers across the country. My fellow New Jerseyans might be lucky enough to spot an osprey moving in for its kill, a slumbering wood frog, a vibrantly colored Monarch butterfly, or the migrating Alewife Herring.

Don't know where to start your hunt? Pop by NatureFind and punch in your zip code for suggestions on wildlife hot spots in your neighborhood. ::Newswise
